Boulting this film based on the novel of the same name stars Richard
Attenborough, Hermione Baddeley and Carol Marsh. A 17 year old
gangster in Brighton kills a man then tries to cover it up with
spiraling consequences.
Well made and in the
tradition of noir films of the period this is a really good watch.
The plot has some interesting characters that slowly crack under the
pressure of the story. I really enjoyed some of the shots, this film
is well worth it's reputation.
