The Lone Hand (1953)

Sherman this film stars Joel McCrea, Barbara Hale and Alex Nicol. A
widower and his son move to a new town and buy a farm.
Setting up something
of an unusual moral dilemma the plot of the film unfortunately takes
the easy way out at the end. There could have been something a bit
different here but the big reveal takes out all the drama from the
piece. Not bad for a b-movie western but nothing more than that.
