Easy Street (1917)

Campbell. The little tramp gets a job as a policeman and is assigned
to an out of control street.
Taking the classic
Chaplain flair for physical comedy this is an entertaining short that
shows what was to come from Chaplain in feature length format. The
plot is simple but fun once it gets going. You can see the skill of a
master craftsman here already decide the early date of the film.
