Villeneuve this sequel stars Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Robin Wright
and Harrison Ford. A replicant working as a blade runner for the LAPD
is ordered to hunt down the first child of a replicant.
I was deeply uneasy
about the idea of a Blade Runner sequel but this film does a really
great job on delivering on the impossible. Not only does it recapture
the look and feel of the original perfectly it manages to find an
interesting story to tell without retreading the original material or
giving in to fan service. Deeply impressive, you have to take your
hat off to the people behind this given how easy it would have been
to make a total disaster here.
