The Double (2013)

Ayoade this film based on the novella of the same name stars Jesse
Eisenberg and Mia Wasikowska. A timid and downtrodden office worker
meets his much more confident double.
Taking Dostoyevsky and
pairing it with a Terry Gilliam style world provides a great
adaptation filled to the brim interesting content everywhere you
look. I really enjoyed the exploration of identity but would have
liked to have seen a little more uncertainty in the reliability of
the protagonist. It is hard to pick faults with this film as it is an
excellently directed and acted adaptation that I would highly
recommend.
