Love on the Wing (1938)

McLaren this is a short animated film that was created as an advert
for the postal service. A man and a woman carry out a relationship by
sending each other letters.
Providing a slightly
abstract style this film does a pretty good job of showing a romance
through simple drawings on coloured backgrounds. There are a lot of
weird and wonderful things going on in this surreal story but it is
an entertaining watch. This may not be the most intricate style of
animation but it certainly holds your attention.
