Secret of the Incas

Hopper this film stars Charlton Heston, Nicole Maurey and Thomas
Mitchell. An American living in Peru by taking advantage of tourists
seeks to make his fortune by finding a lost Inca treasure.
Undeniably this film
is one of the key influences on Indiana Jones films but is a pale
version of the later films it inspired. The plot rattles along nicely
but is not what you would call action filled or with particularly
deep characters, the protagonist is a bit more Han Solo than Indiana
Jones really. Using the real location of Machu Picchu is nice but it
is not photographed to really capture it's breath taking look.
