Butch and Sundance: The
Early Years (1979)

Lester this prequel stars Tom Berenger and William Kitt. Two young
outlaws meet and form a partnership as they get to grips with a life
of crime.
It is hard not to
compare this film with the original Newman/Redford film and the
comparisons do not go well for this prequel. The stars of this film
lack the charisma of the originals and the script is on the weak side
which does not help matters. Historical events seem to have gone
largely out the window when crafting the plot which makes it hard to
find a lot to recommend this film on.
