The Salvation (2014)

Levring this film stars Mads Mikkelsen, Eva Green, Jeffery Dean
Morgan and Jonathan Pryce. Two brothers who served in the Danish army
end up in conflict with a gang run by a former US army officer in the
old West.
Nothing especially
stands out about this film, it has little originality or much to say
but is a fairly standard genre piece. In attempting to pay reverence
to the classics of the genre the film ends up never becoming more
than the sum of it's parts. South Africa does a surprisingly good job
standing in as the shooting location and on a personal note seeing
Eric Cantona in a small role was cool.
