Revenge of the Green

& Andrew Loo this film based on true events stars Justin Chon,
Chuya Chang, Harry Shum, Jr. and Ray Liotta. Two young Chinese
illegal immigrants to the US in the 1980s find themselves inducted
into a street gang.
Taking a fairly
familiar tale of immigrants and organised crime this film puts an
unusual spin on it by setting it in a Chinese-America community.
There is not a lot that is revolutionary about this film but it is a
fairly good genre piece. The cast give good performances and the
direction is decent as well.
