The Bounty Hunter
(1954)
Directed by Andre de
Toth this is the sixth and final collaboration with star Randolp
Scott which also features Marie Windsor and Ernest Borgnine. A bounty
hunter seeks three criminals that are hidden amongst a small
community.
This film looks like
it was made on a low budget and at times the image quality of this
film is not that good. The plot for this film is pretty average and
features a lot of cliché characters that you will see in just about
any low budget western of the era. Despite some vague attempts to
look at the nature of a person that would work as a bounty hunter
there is little real depth to this film and it is hard to find any
reason to recommend it.
