Cowboys and Aliens

Based on the comic of
the same name this film from director Jon Favreau stars Daniel Craig,
Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde. A cowboy wakes up in the desert with
out his memory, goes into town and the town gets attacked by aliens.
When a film has five
credited writers at the start you should begin to worry and this film
is no exception to that rule. The problems with this script are
characters with no motivation and there is absolutely no sense of
pace or drive in the narrative. On the surface this may seem like a
pretty average film but the more you think about it the worse it gets
and there is no atmosphere or tension to make up for the weak script
so you are not left with much good to say about the film at all.
