Panorama des rives du Nil, [I] (1897)
Directed by Alexandre Promio this is an early short film. We see the banks of the Nile from a boat travelling along the river.
My issue with this film is there is very little in shot to actually tell you where you are. This could really be a river scene from any north African country, nothing is very specifically Egyptian here. Not my favourite of the Lumiere travel films.
