The Rising Hawk (2019)
Directed by Akhtem Seitablayev & John Wynn this film also known as “A Kingdom Falls” stars Robert Patrick, Tommy Flanagan, Alison Doody, Poppy Drayton and Rocky Myers. During the 13th century peasants living in the Carpathian Mountains face off against Mongol invaders.
Essentially the plot of this film is a load of junk and I suspect there are plenty of historical inaccuracies in it. As mindless action films go it is not too bad although the lower budget does show occasionally. Fun if you can turn your brain off, otherwise all too predictable.
