Button this film based on real events stars Gemma Arterton and
Elizabeth Debicki. We follow the affair between writers Vita
Sackville-West and Virginia Woolf in 1920s England.
By a long margin the
best thing about this film is the performance from Elizabeth Debicki
which is amazing. To be honest I found it hard to engage with the
plot, the characters are so aloof as to be unsettling. This film
might be based on a play but it does a good job of not being one of
those play adaptations that is trapped in a handful of rooms.
