Palka this film also known as “Egg” stars Christina Hendricks,
Alysia Reiner, Gbenga Akinnagbe and David Alan Basche. A couple close
to giving birth visit friends and find out they are having a child by
surrogate.
Pretty clearly adapted
from a play this is a fairly interesting film about the concept of
motherhood in the modern world. The plot might not have anything
hugely revolutionary to say but it is fairly funny in places. Some of
the dialogue could have done with a little tweaking but otherwise I
really enjoyed this film.
