Hot Summer Nights

by Elijah Bynum this film stars Timothee Chalamet, Maika Monroe and
Alex Roe. In 1991 a teenage boy is sent to Cape Cod for the summer by
his mother and becomes involved in dealing drugs there.
Not a huge amount
stands out about this coming of age drama. Plenty of the plot is
familiar and not really uniquely handled. There are decent
performances from the cast but again nothing overly impressive.
