Jenkins this film based on an unpublished play stars Travante Rhodes,
Ashton Sanders, Andre Holland and Naomie Harris. At three different
periods in his life we see an African American struggling with his
sexuality.
Fascinating as a study
the intersection of homosexuality and masculinity in an oppressed
community this is a great watch. Never melodramatic the script treats
its subject matter with care and skill. There are some good
performances and interesting choices of music.
