A Midsummer Night's

Kent & Stuart Blackton this film based on the play of the same
name stars Maurice Costello and Walter Ackerman. The path of true
love gets confused as various people head out into the woods.
Condensing down the
entirety of a Shakespeare play into a single reel is impossible but
this film does capture a few scenes from the play well. The main
thing to enjoy here is the costumes and natural setting of the film.
Not the greatest adaptation you will ever see but there is some charm
to the piece.
