Easy Virtue (2008)

Elliott this film based on the play of the same name stars Jessica
Biel, Ben Barnes, Colin Firth and Kristin Scott Thomas. A repressed,
upper class British family find that the son of the family has
married an American woman and is bringing her home to meet them.
This film is typical
Noel Coward material mixing biting wit with social commentary. While
the commentary of the film may be a little dated at least the humour
still raises a chuckle. The film is generally well made but not up
there with the best of British period pieces like say a
Merchant-Ivory film.
