The Challenger (2015)

and starting Kent Moran this film also features Michael Clarke Duncan
in his final film role. A young mechanic wants to earn extra money by
taking up boxing.
To mix metaphors this
is an undercooked paint by numbers boxing movie that is essentially a
poor imitation or Rocky. The plot is neither convincing nor works in
terms of character arcs. I suppose the direction is not too bad but
does nothing to stand out in a very crowded genre.
