The Towering Inferno

Guilermin this film stars Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, William Holden
and Faye Dunaway. On the opening night of a massive new skyscraper
cost cutting in the buildings construction leads to a massive fire.
This film fits right
in with a glut of disaster films that were made around the same
period and includes plenty of thrills and spills as the characters
struggle to survive. It does take a little while for the story to get
going but otherwise this is pretty standard genre fare. When it comes
to the stunts some are pretty impressive but it largely fairly
obvious model work a lot of the time.
