Flowers and Trees
(1932)
Directed by Burt
Gillett this is the first colour cartoon from Walt Disney
Productions. Everyone in the forest goes about their business
pleasantly till a tree gets jealous of the romance between two
younger trees.
Taking a simple plot
this is a fairly entertaining short cartoon. While there is not a
huge amount of comedy there is the odd moment here and there that
raises a chuckle. Clearly not the best of Disney's output this is
still a major milestone for them.
