Sinkin' in the Bathtub
(1930)
Directed by Hugh
Harman and Rudolf Ising this cartoon has voices from Carmen Maxwell
and Rochelle Hudson. After taking a bath Bosko heads out to see his
girlfriend.
The first first
cartoon from Looney Tunes this could easily be a Mickey and Minnie
Mouse story and offers not a huge amount plot wise. Where this
cartoon is really strong is that it is chock full of jokes from start
to finish. I thought this cartoon really set a high standard for the
quantity and surreal nature of humour in cartoons.
