The Runaways (2018)
Written & directed
by Richard Heap this film stars Molly Windsor, Mark Addy, Lee
Boardman and Tarra Fitzgerald. Following the death of their father
three children go on the run from their uncle in the hopes of finding
their estranged mother.
I really enjoyed the
performances of the young cast in this film which is the highlight of
the piece by a good margin. The plot of the film has a lot of promise
but never capitalises on the premise. I found the ending to be the
films biggest disappointment and pretty irresponsible really.
