by Xavier Legrand this film stars Lea Drucker, Denis Menochet and
Thomas Gioria. Following the divorce of his parents a young boy finds
himself used as a pawn by his father who is still obsessed with his
mother.
I really enjoyed the
grounded nature of this film, the terror here is mundane and builds
gradually over the course of the film. The direction really roots you
in a real world story rather than offer up a clearly evil from the
start antagonist. No doubt this story will be familiar to many
people.
