Her Smell (2018)
Written & directed
by Alex Ross Perry this film stars Elisabeth Moss, Cara Delevingne
and Dan Stevens. We see the lead singer of an all girl punk band hit
rock bottom and come out the other side.
The tent pole of this
film is an astonishingly raw performance from Elisabeth Moss in the
lead role. There are times I found the film a little hard to hear but
it really is a great look at self destructive behaviour. It is also
super rare you see this sort of film from the perspective of female
characters.
