Industrial Britain
(1931)
Directed by Robert J.
Flaherty and Edgar Anstey this is a short documentary film. We see
the level of industry in Great Britain.
Essentially this is a
marketing or propaganda piece that is pretty upfront about it's
agenda. As a historical record I'm sure there is merit to this film
but it's not the greatest piece of entertainment ever. Not a terrible
watch but this does not stand out from similar documentaries of the
period.
