Kapadia this film based on the novel the same name stars Adam Bakri,
Maria Valverde, Riccardo Scamarcio and Homayoun Ershadi. In 1914 a
muslim from Baku seeks to marry a Christian girl from Georgia.
Against a beautiful
back drop of scenery this film is a fairly pedestrian romance with a
culture clash. I would have really liked to have seen more of the
cultural and historical back drop to this story as the romance
element is not overly interesting. Well made and acted in general
this is a decent watch.
