The Pirates of Somalia

Buckley this film based on real events stars Evan Peters, Barkhad
Abdi, Al Pacino and Melanie Griffith. Frustrated with his start in
life a Canadian aspiring to be a journalist heads to Somalia to try
to find his big break.
While this may not be
the whole truth and nothing but the truth it shows a warts and all
version of both it's protagonist and the situation in Somalia. Unlike
a lot of media on the subject matter we finally get to see the Somali
point of view, or at least some of it. Generally well made this is a
decent film on a topical subject.
