Pan (2015)

this film stars Levi Miller, Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Rooney
Mara. We discover how Peter Pan made this way to Neverland and first
met the man who will become Captain Hook.
As a prequel the plot
of this film is no great shakes and somewhat disappointingly never
really shows how Hook will turn into a bad guy. The CGI is not the
best at times and that is a bit of a problem as the film relies so
heavily on it. Casting Rooney Mara as Tiger Lilly also leaves the
film open to criticism about white washing as well which does not
help matters even if historically the role itself can be seen as
racial stereotyping.
