Alfredson this film based on the novel “Go With Me” stars Julia
Stiles, Anthony Hopkins, Alexander Ludwig and Ray Liotta. A woman
enlists the help of two loggers in dealing with a man who has been
harassing her but the whole town it too scared to confront.
While the novel this
film is based on is inspired by the Arthurian legend of the “Tale
of Sir Gareth” it has more than a hint of Shane (1953) about it.
The simple plot never really gets into depth with the issues at hand
but is a good watch. I enjoyed the direction which has some
atmosphere if not becoming a fully stylised vision.
