Good Posture (2019)

by Dolly Wells this film stars Grace Van Patten, Emily Mortimer and
Timm Sharp. A young woman with no direction in her life goes to stay
with an author friend of her father.
Having seen more than
enough films with slacker male protagonists it is a nice change to
see one with a female slacker protagonist. There is a lot that
resonates in this coming of age tale but I wanted a bit more of an
emotional blow out from the transformation scene. Enjoyable and I am
slightly surprised to find out there is not a young adult novel
behind this film.
