Holland this film based on real events stars James Norton, Vanessa
Kirby and Peter Sarsgaard. In 1933 off the back of interviewing
Hitler a welsh journalist heads to the Soviet Union to uncover the
truth behind the Soviet economic expansion.
There is a lot to
enjoy about this film and the Holodomor is a subject deserving of
more attention but I think unfortunately this film is a bit
economical with the truth. Ultimately this film left me wanting a bit
more of a historical treatment of the subject matter. Decently made
if a little bit of a let down.
