Girls of the Sun (2018)

this film stars Golshifteh Farahani and Emmanuelle Bercot. A French
report joints of a unit of Kurdish women fighting in Northern Iraq
against ISIS.
There are times this
film verges on over sentimentality but I think it does a decent job
of showing us women at war. A lot of the story is pretty grim but
worth sticking with. I really liked some of the great landscape
shots.
