Dough and Dynamite
(1914)
Directed by star
Charlie Chaplin this film also features Chester Conklin and Fritz
Schade. Two waiters at a restaurant find themselves working in the
kitchen when the kitchen staff all go on strike.
With plenty of decent
set pieces this is a good early comedy. The plot may not have a huge
amount to say but there are enough laughs to keep you entertained.
Well made, this film contains at least a couple of iconic moments.
