The Hateful Eight
(2015)
Written & directed
by Quentin Tarantino this film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell
and Jennifer Jason Leigh. During a blizzard in Wyoming a bunch of
nefarious characters find themselves all trapped in the same building
eyeing each other suspiciously.
It is easy to see what
Tarantino is constructing here in terms of a tense thriller but
honestly I think this turns out as one of the director's weaker
films. The plot is fine but the tension on the screen never really
ignites and the plot lacks a little depth in my opinion. Ultimately
this film was a bit forgettable in my opinion.
