The Cabin in the Woods

Goddard this film stars Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna
Hutchinson and Fran Kranz. A group of attractive young people head
off to spend some time at a cabin in the woods, no way that could go
badly right?
It is very rare that
someone tries to do something different with the horror genre and
even rarer that it actually works. While this may not be the deepest
look at the genre or have the most interesting things the self
awareness of the script does at least make for an entertaining
change. Ultimately this is a fun watch that falls just a little short
of being really interesting.
