Kajaki: The True Story (2014)

Directed by Paul Katis this film based on real events stars David Elliot, Mark Stanley and Scott Kyle. In 2006 a group of British soldiers find themselves in a minefield suffering casualties.

Both documentary like and dripping with tension this is a really good look at life on the front lines. The script really captures the nature of both British and British soldier humour as well as attitudes. I thought this film was really well made and well worth a watch.
