The Past (2013)
Written & directed
by Asghar Farhadi this film stars Berenice Bejo, Ali Mossaffa, Tahar
Rahim and Pauline Burlet. An Iranian man travels to Paris to sign the
divorce with his French wife but gets caught up in the problems of
her current relationship.
As always Asghar
Farhadi creates an interesting domestic situation and explores the
consequences of peoples actions in an entertaining way. The situation
may not be completely universal but it is a good dive into action and
consequence as people try to move on with their lives. Well made and
with good performances all round this is a decent watch.
