Manhattan Night (2016)

DeCubellis this film based on the novel “Manhatten Nocturne”
stars Adrien Brody, Yvonne Strahovski, Jennifer Beals and Steven
Berkoff. A journalist meets a young window who wants him to look into
the death of her movie director husband.
Unfortunately a lot of
the lot of this would be noir film doesn't make sense and the
protagonist is too stupid for an intelligent investigator. While the
film is not offensively bad it uses genre cliches like a crutch and
barely hobbles along. I suppose the cast are fine but there is not
much to enjoy here.
