Upside Down; or, the
Human Flies (1899)
Directed by Walter R.
Booth this is an early film reputedly featuring the director himself
in one of the roles. A group of people walk on the ceiling.
Essentially this film
is just one simple camera trick and not much else. Given the time the
film was made in it is hard to expect too much from it but compared
to some of the other trick films of the era it is a bit empty. Still
this is a watchable short if not overly remarkable.
