The Country Cousin
(1936)
Directed by Wilfred
Jackson this cartoon is inspired by one of Aesop's Fables. A mouse
from the countryside comes to visit his cousin who lives in the big
city.
This is a pretty
simple cartoon that has some fun exploring the excesses of city
living. Not really sticking closely to it's source material this is
still an entertaining short. The animation style is good but on par
with the Disney style of the period.
