Fantastic Planet (1973)

Laloux this animated film based the novel “Oms en serie” has
voice acting from Eric Baugin and Jennifer Drake. In the future
advanced aliens on a another planet keep humans as pets.
This film does a good
job at looking at the way we treat animals asking some real questions
about our assumed superiority and the darker side of our relationship
with our pets. While this is a fairly simple plot with a short run
time it is an interesting watch. There are some totally bizarre
images that really capture a fantastic planet.
