The Raid: Redemption

Written and directed
by Gareth Evans this film stars Iko Uwais, Donny Alamsyah, Pierre
Gruno and Ray Sahetapy. Police officers in a SWAT team launch a raid
on a tower block run by a crime lord, everything goes bad.
If you are expecting
any sort of story or character development you came to the wrong
place as those are low on the concerns of the film makers here. What
you get here is non stop action that is really well directed and has
a frenetic pace to it. A film like this lives or dies on it's
direction and the action is expertly handled here more than making up
for the lack of plot or character.
