Snack Shack (2024)
Written & directed by Adam Carter Rehmeier this film stars Conor Sherry, Gabriel LaBelle and Mika Abdalla. In 1991 two fourteen year olds aspiring hustlers seek to make money over the summer and fall out over a girl.
If you have seen any coming of age films this one touches on a lot of familiar stuff without ever being cliché. Even if this is nothing original or special it is still enjoyable for what it is, a solid genre effort. Does a decent job of capturing a point in history if not quite being Dazed and Confused levels.
