Pierrette's Escapades
(1900)
Directed by Alice
Guy-Blache this is an early short film that has been hand coloured. A
woman resists one man's courting in favour of another.
Very simple in terms
of content but it is nice to see a film from Guy-Blache embracing a
narrative. The colours and action make this a charming watch. Very
much a quaint early film.
