Villeneuve this film based on the novella “Story of Your Life”
stars Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker. When aliens
arrive on Earth a linguist is tasked with trying to help communicate
with them.
Impressively dealing
with concepts in both hard science-fiction as well as on a more
personal level this is a film that will really challenge the viewer.
Told with a slow, almost lyrical pace the film is well constructed
giving a real emotional connection. Beautiful to watch and
challenging of thought it is impossible not to recommend this film.
