Denis this film based on the novel “A Lover's Discourse: Fragments”
stars Juliette Binoche. A middle aged artist struggles in love,
starting and then abruptly ending relationships with a series of men.
I will be honest, this
is one of those films that I just did not get. There are too many
times when the protagonists actions seem contradictory and
inexplicable to me. No doubt Juliette Binoche is a great actress but
I just could not get what was going on here.
