Workers Leaving the
Lumiere Factory (1895)
Directed by Louis
Lumiere this is one of the earliest films ever made. At the end of
the day workers pile out of the factory on the way home.
Pretty much just what
it says on the tin this is a very simple film with no real narrative
to it. I suppose you would say this is more a documentary than
anything but there is not a lot to read into the content. There are
several versions of this film floating round which at least provides
some variety I suppose.
